The Caged Bird. I play a bird whose reality is to be locked up in a cage. But the bird's strength takes it out of the cage, it emerges into the world, starts to flap his wings, waltzes on life, flies away and lives its freedom in a world where everything is now possible. The bars become luminous, poetic objects. Beyond embodying a bird, we hear the idea of metamorphosis. Birds are similar to humans in that they are beings of movement and freedom, equally fragile and ephemeral. We can be walled in, limited or locked up, physically or psychologically, in a body/frame, a cage of routine daily life and that germinates in us a fertile transformation...
