Performance story
It deals with the theme of the children's tale of Rapunzel, here told in a modern version. A wife and husband who had long wished for a child, and the witch took the child away, naming her Rapunzel, a beautiful girl with long, braided golden-blond hair. From the age of 12, the witch confined Rapunzel to the top of a high tower (represented here by the hoop), a familiar, cozy nest that is her normality, but which is in fact a cage where Rapunzel remains cloistered and imprisoned, cut off from the outside world. In this behind closed doors, in expectation and doubt, faced with the choice to take flight, to leap, like a process of change, Rapunzel will struggle, climb, escape from this tower and will emanate Rapunzel's liberation and rebirth.
