Performance story

One morning, shortly after tea time, a new fitness coach turns up. Full of enthusiasm — perhaps a little too much — he presents his famous ‘success programme’ to the participants, among whom is a charming care assistant. The coach doesn’t seem to realise what sort of place he’s in, or what sort of people he’s dealing with. However, he quickly realises that he’s actually in a care home, surrounded by “super grannies” and… the pretty care assistant. Little by little, his “success programme” turns into a scenario straight out of a comedy. And he gets the impression that the grannies are plotting something and that, somehow, the two young people find themselves constantly being pushed towards each other… This performance brings back sweet memories of summer holidays and the grannies we couldn’t keep up with.
