Performance story

I am a shooting star, free and luminous, traversing the boundless sky. But my fall brings me to Earth. I discover a world I once thought wondrous... but ultimately it is a world hurried, wounded, polluted by humanity. I, who was light, feel myself fading. Refusing to lose my brilliance, with my last breath, I decide to leave Earth to burn once more in the sky, to reclaim my place and become stardust again.
