Performance story

In Greek mythology, Persephone is the daughter of Demeter, goddess of the earth and harvest. One day, she is abducted by Hades and taken to the Underworld. Devastated, her mother plunges the world into an eternal winter. A compromise is then reached: Persephone will now divide her time between two worlds. When she returns to her mother, the Earth is reborn — this is spring and summer. When she goes back to the Underworld, nature fades away — this is autumn and winter. Through this choreography, you will follow her journey from light to darkness, and her transformation into the queen of the Underworld.
